Service: Configuration Requirements for Vendor Solutions

Ensure that the solution that you implement supports your business processes and your business rules. Doreen Evans Associates will facilitate sessions to define the way the system will be configured and implemented to support your process. The configuration requirements will be documented and verified with your subject matter experts and the vendor. You'll want your requirements to ensure the package you've selected will be configured to meet your business needs, not the other way around.

	Training on vendor solution so that key functionality is well understood by project team members
	Facilitated sessions to elicit the processes and business use cases affected by the new solution. Identify system functions used to perform use cases
	Facilitated sessions to elicit business rules that must be enforced through the system
	Review of solution screens and elicitation of changes to be made to user interface
	Interviews to understand data integration and migration approach
	Documentation of configuration requirements including:
		Activity diagrams indicating interaction between the user and the system
		System requirements
		Business rules
		Workflow rules
		Data requirements
		User interface requirements and screen changes
	Validation sessions to confirm requirements with stakeholders and vendor

	Activity diagrams with detailed reports depicting the interaction the user will have with the solution and the associated requirements and rules
